Our QLD Iron bark is a pure high density timber, when ignited gives greater heat content with minimal smoke making it ideal for indoor use in slow combustion heaters and fireplaces, wood ovens, offset smokers and fire pits.
Being a denser wood, QLD Iron bark contains more heat per volume producing maximum heat and burning slower and more steadily and thus being the perfect fuel when ignited, providing warmth for longer periods of time.
Our Iron bark mix is a premium mix and lets you enjoy your cosy fire without breaking the bank. It is just that, a variety of premium high-density hardwoods made up of a majority iron bark and 20-35% red gum, yellow box and spotted gum, the perfect mix which give off great heat with minimal smoke and savings.
Kindling is smaller pieces of bone dried mixed hardwoods, used for ease of starting your fire when combined with an ignition source. 10 kg bags available for pick up or delivery with bulk buy of firewood.
